Are you dissatisfied with your smile? Veneers can fix chipped, stained, gapped, or slightly misaligned teeth. Trained to restore flawed teeth with durable dental restorations, Dr. Patel can give you a more uniform, beautiful smile.

What are veneers?

Dental veneers are thin shells that attach directly to the front of your teeth. Infinite Smiles uses both traditional porcelain and ultra-thin veneers similar to Lumineers to cover chips, cracks, and heavy stains.

These are traditionally made from porcelain, which is a very durable ceramic that closely simulates your natural teeth. Unlike teeth whitening, they are a long-term solution to cosmetic problems. In many cases, non-permanent cosmetic solutions like whitening require a touch-up every few months.

Both ultra-thin and porcelain restorations are strong and highly durable. Our in-house lab ensures the best match to your teeth, so your restoration never appears out-of-place.

Placing your veneers

To properly place your veneers, we first acquire digital images of your teeth. Dr. Patel uses these to evaluate your smile and discuss any necessary adjustments. He will also create a 3-D model to preview your new smile before the procedure.

Before applying your restorations, your teeth must be thoroughly cleaned and buffed. This ensures a secure bond between veneer and tooth.

For traditional applications, you may need to have a thin layer of enamel removed, as well. This ensures your veneer does not stick out past your gum line. Ultra-thin veneers, similar to Lumineers, require less removal of the enamel than traditional veneers.

The entire process takes only 6 hours. We use dental cement and a special light to harden the cement, securing your restorations to your teeth.

The power of porcelain

Your new dental restorations will match the shade and shape of your surrounding teeth, giving you a healthy, natural smile.

For the most part, you will care for your veneers like you would your natural teeth. Simply brush twice a day and floss once a day, and your beautiful new smile will last for years.

Like natural teeth you will need to take care to not bite into anything too hard. And remember that your restorations can stain like natural teeth, so limit common tooth staining foods and drinks.
