Invisalign® invisible braces provide a completely different approach to teeth alignment from traditional braces. Move your teeth without wires or brackets using custom-fitted aligners for the smile you’ve always wanted.

What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® is a comprehensive orthodontic system that usually takes around a year to complete. In time, a series of invisible aligners gently guide teeth into more appropriate positions. Altogether, the typical process uses anywhere between 18 to 30 aligners. However, the duration and number of aligners depends on the severity of the misalignment of your teeth.

With our advanced training, Invisalign® can be more than a simple cosmetic orthodontic option. Gapped, crooked, misaligned, or crowded teeth and patients with overbites, underbites, or crossbites can benefit from these aligners.

Some patients might also benefit from MTM® (Minor Tooth Movement) aligners, which focus solely on the “social 6”. These are the 6 top and 6 bottom teeth that are most seen when smiling and talking.

Clear orthodontic treatment

One of the biggest advantages of invisible aligners is that the trays, which fit directly over your teeth, are clear. As a result, no one will be able to see you are wearing them. This alleviates the stigma attached to many orthodontic procedures by eliminating prominent and distracting hardware.

Invisalign® invisible braces are not only more discreet than traditional braces, they are also more comfortable. That is because the aligners don’t have to rely on bulky, sharp brackets and wires to align the teeth. On top of this, they are custom fitted and fully removable. This means each aligner is assured to not crowd the mouth or gums.

Clients can also usually expect to wear these aligners for less time than traditional braces. In the end, they typically move your teeth into place in around 9 to 18 months. Comparatively, traditional orthodontics can take 2 years or longer.

Cleaner teeth with Invisalign®

Since the aligners are fully removable, they are easy to clean. Simply remove the trays, brush with toothpaste, and rinse with warm water as part of your daily dental hygiene routine. And while they are removed, you can brush and floss your teeth normally.

This is contrary to traditional orthodontics. Because with the wires and brackets of traditional braces, brushing your teeth can become very difficult. This is why tooth decay can be an unfortunate side effect to straightening your teeth with braces.

With Invisalign®, you don’t have to sacrifice oral hygiene to get the smile you want. Simply take the aligners out, brush and floss, then put them back in.
